A trading journal that actually explains your edge.
Log every trade in seconds, attach the setup and the screenshot, and let Pro-Scanner turn your history into the metrics professional desks actually use — SQN, Sharpe, Sortino, MAR and PL/DD, each with a plain language reading of what it means for your process.
From trade log to post-trade review
The journal is wired into the rest of the terminal, so the setup you planned in a Playbook is the same one you grade in your review.
Log the trade
Instrument, direction, entry, stop, target, size and the playbook you traded — captured in one dialog while it's still fresh.
Attach the evidence
Upload chart screenshots and notes so every entry carries the context that made you take it.
Read the analytics
Equity curve, drawdown, expectancy and risk-adjusted ratios recalculated on every new trade.
Review and adjust
Structured reviews turn recurring mistakes into concrete rules you can put back into a playbook.
The performance metrics, explained
Most journals stop at win rate and net P&L. Pro-Scanner computes the risk-adjusted numbers a systematic trader needs — and rates each one so you know whether it is strong, acceptable or a problem.
SQN (System Quality Number)
Measures the quality of your system by combining expectancy with consistency across your trade sample. Tells you whether an edge is real or just a lucky streak.
Sharpe ratio
Return per unit of total volatility. Useful for comparing two strategies that produce similar P&L but very different equity curves.
Sortino ratio
Return per unit of downside volatility only. Rewards strategies whose variance comes from winners rather than drawdowns.
MAR ratio
Annualised return divided by maximum drawdown — the single clearest read on whether your returns are worth the pain they cost.
PL/DD
Total profit relative to the deepest drawdown in the period. A fast sanity check on how much heat your account takes to earn each unit of profit.
Expectancy & R-multiples
Every trade is stored in R terms, so win rate, average win/loss and expectancy stay comparable across instruments and position sizes.
Built for traders who review, not just record
Risk first: every journal entry stores your stop and R-multiple, so position sizing and invalidation stay part of the record rather than an afterthought.
